Overview
Igła i Rowek is a local-first iPhone app for vinyl listeners. It helps you manage a record collection, audio gear, listening sessions, stylus usage and related notes. The app is designed to keep your personal listening history on your device.
Data stored on your device
The app may store the following information locally on your device:
- records in your collection, including artist, title, year, format, genre and notes;
- turntables, cartridges, styli, amplifiers and related audio gear notes;
- listening sessions, session duration and stylus usage statistics;
- optional Discogs username and imported Discogs collection metadata;
- optional backup files that you choose to export.
Data collection
The developer does not collect personal data from Igła i Rowek. The app does not require an Igła i Rowek account, does not include advertising SDKs, does not use tracking SDKs and does not send analytics data to the developer.
Discogs integration
Discogs import is optional. If you choose to connect Discogs, the app sends your Discogs username and personal access token to the Discogs API to fetch your collection. The token is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Imported collection metadata is stored locally in the app.
Igła i Rowek does not send your local listening history, audio gear, stylus usage or app statistics to Discogs.
Backups and exports
If you export a backup, the app creates a local JSON file containing your app data. You decide where to save or share that file. Because it can contain private listening history, keep exported backups in a trusted location.
Camera and photo library
The app may ask for camera or photo library access when you add record or audio gear photos. Access is used only for the photos you choose inside the app.
